MUSEUM OF URBANISM

INTERACTIVE MUSEUM EXPERIENCE

Exhibit narrative, content + design, UX + UI design

BRC Imagination Arts was invited to partner with Museoplan in a competition to design a new Museum of Urbanism, working with architects Herzog & de Meuron, located in Hangzhou, China. The exhibits took guests on an educational and entertaining journey through the history of global urbanism.

Tackling how such a vast topic can engage everyone, from grandparents to adolescents, I developed a personalized system allowing guests to create a profile based on their urban-related interests. Facial-recognition software would cue screens at each exhibit to display information related to the visitor’s interests. The system allows visitors to further explore their interests while discovering new areas, each in a unique way.
