ICELAND: AROUND THE CORNER
Multi-sensory, immersive brand experience

Event + production design + execution

We set out to promote Iceland as a must-see stopover to Europe by making people feel its magic before they even set foot there. To do this, we created a living, breathing, freezing, misting, burning travel brochure – and immersed audiences in it.

We crafted a multi-sensory, authentically Icelandic experience in Boston.

Attendees felt the chill of Iceland, tasted its treats, and marveled at live lava. With a Grammy-nominated band and comedian, we brought Iceland’s culture to life. Each zone was designed for engagement, fostering wonder, curiosity, and FOMO.

Attendees wowed at the event’s authenticity, sharing their experiences widely. The event doubled the attendance of our previous London event, with high engagement at every interactive zone, from the lava show to the food samples. The buzz on social media was electric, with many planning Iceland stopovers on their next Europe trip.

INTERACTIVE MUSEUM EXPERIENCE

Exhibit narrative, content + design, UX + UI design

BRC Imagination Arts was invited to partner with Museoplan in a competition to design a new Museum of Urbanism, working with architects Herzog & de Meuron, located in Hangzhou, China. The exhibits took guests on an educational and entertaining journey through the history of global urbanism.

Tackling how such a vast topic can engage everyone, from grandparents to adolescents, I developed a personalized system allowing guests to create a profile based on their urban-related interests. Facial-recognition software would cue screens at each exhibit to display information related to the visitor’s interests. The system allows visitors to further explore their interests while discovering new areas, each in a unique way.
